Terms of Service and User Agreement
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before visiting globalroute.me (the Platform), creating an account, or using our services. By using the Platform you agree to these Terms with the operator of the Platform (the Service Provider).
1. General Provisions
1.1. These Terms govern the relationship between the Service Provider and the user of the Platform (the User).
1.2. The Service Provider may update these Terms by publishing a new version on the Platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
2. Description of Services
2.1. The Platform provides digital name-card profiles, browser-based voice and video calling, live chat, inbox messaging, voicemail, push alerts, and related communication features.
2.2. The Service Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, but makes reasonable efforts to keep the service available.
2.3. Real-time call and live-chat media are typically peer-to-peer (WebRTC). A TURN relay may be used when a direct connection is not possible. The Service Provider does not offer paid call recording as part of the standard service.
3. Registration and User Account
3.1. To use certain features, the User must create an account and provide accurate information.
3.2. The User is responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for activity under their account.
3.3. The Service Provider may suspend or delete an account that violates these Terms, applicable law, or that is used for abuse, spam, or harm.
4. Acceptable Use
4.1. The User must not use the Platform for unlawful content, harassment, fraud, unsolicited bulk contact, or attempts to disrupt the service or other users.
4.2. Public name cards and shared links must not impersonate others or mislead about identity in a harmful way.
5. Fees
5.1. The core Platform features described above are currently provided free of charge.
5.2. If paid plans or add-ons are introduced later, prices and payment terms will be shown clearly before purchase, and these Terms will be updated accordingly.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. Platform software, design, and branding belong to the Service Provider or its licensors.
6.2. The User retains rights to content they upload (such as profile photo and bio) and grants the Service Provider a license to host and display that content as needed to provide the service.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1. The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
7.2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss arising from use of the Platform.
7.3. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Estonian or applicable consumer law.
8. Privacy
8.1. Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
9.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia.
9.2. Disputes should first be resolved by negotiation. Otherwise, disputes are resolved in Harju County Court, subject to mandatory consumer venue rules.
9.3. Consumers may also contact the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (TTJA) or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform where applicable.
